Today, few societies are not involved with the problem of sedition and it can be said that from the beginning of creation until now all societies and governments have been involved with this matter. Therefore, owning the knowledge of sedition management and having an appropriate pattern according to the cultural and religious values of the society has a significant importance. For this reason, in our religious and social culture, the presence of resources like the holy “Koran” and “Nahj Al Balaghah” and also religious leaders who were the government statesmen is very valuable. In Nahj Al Balaghah’s point of view, the most important factor in sedition management is to know the source, level, and the process of sedition in order to manage sedition in the lowest level with the least time and cost. Sedition from the “level” point of view is divided into the difference in thought, schism, and devilry. In the “process” point of view it is divided into the difference of ideas, difference of resources, and tough reaction. The first step in sedition management according to Islam is Unitarianism through raising people’s faith and unity and the use of intellection and wisdom according to time and environment which works for prevention and the last cure is sedition. Imam Ali’s method of sedition management involves intellectual management of sedition that is using faith power, thought, analysis, and planning power, then there was the modest sedition management level, that is, using authority conferment and discussion and finally the tough sedition level, that is, revelation and contrast.
